I get teased for owning so many pairs of sunglasses. But they break. I buy cheap ones. And I need them fully accessible (one in the car, one in my bag, one by the back door, 'ugly but sturdy' pair with my jogging stuff, 'emergency' pair in the pram, 'spare' pair in the cupboard, identical to a pair I really like...). I know it's not a very sustainable practice.
